Kanal Bergum

Bergum is an elementary school that had a problem with information on the school. To solve the situation they settled for a Dise DS information system with three players and a number of LCD screens placed at strategic locations around the school house.

Internally called "Channel Bergum" the information channel serves as a tool for information from both school management and pupils. Pupils are allowed to create "TV-Shows" that can be viewed in the local channel.

All screens are controlled from the same location and different player groups can display three different messages. All installation of the system has been done by the school IT-staff and the system is teachers and school management personnel.

The final result is a new way of handling information and gives both teachers and pupils better and more accurate information than before.

Telia network

Telia, Sweden largest tele-communications company, is an experienced digital signage user. They’ve been using in-store digital signage since 1999, internally called Kuben. In 2005 they needed to replace their existing system and turned to Dise distributor Specialelektronik AB.

Screen Com-munication AS have been working with digital signage since 1988. Today Screen Communication have 500 screens (50” Plasma-screens) placed at strategic locations throughout Norway.

R-TV is a Swedish ompany that run a digital network of connected creens in retail stores in Sweden. Each store is divided into zones where different content is displayed. Each zone is run by a computer running Windows XP and Dise DSM Replay.

PS Media Group

PS Media Group is a Swedish company that run a digital network of connected screens in public locations and shopping malls. The content is handled from a central editing site and delivered using FTP and broadband connections to all player sites. The content is a mix of news, weather, local information and advertising
