Färs and Frosta Sparbank Arena
In the autumn 2007 Berne Nilsson, Director of the Färs & Frosta Sparbank Arena in Lund, Sweden, asked Fremlab to be a part of the upcoming installation of
AV-equipment in one of swedens newest multifunction arenas. The arena was not yet built and the opening date was already set to 19 september 2008.
The arena is mostly an arena for two of the elite handball clubs in Sweden, H43 and LUGI, but will also be used for conferences, concerts among other things.
What the Arena wanted was a displaysystem that must be easy to use and program. It must be possible to update the information easy, even during a game of handboll.
We talked about the advantages and posibilities with DISE and it seemed to be the right sollution for the task and now both clubs has their own laptop with Composer
and access to three of the five Players in the arena. The other two Players are for the arenas own use to present upcoming events, sales marketing, opening hours and so on.
Also a remotecontrolled camera is accessible through one of the players and gives the posibility to send live feeds from the game to selectable screens in the house.

The messages played out from DISE is run via an Sierravideo matrix, together with several other videofeeds in and out, to and from the arena, to any of the arenas two
15000Ansi Sanyo Videoprojectors and over twenty plasma and LCD screens.
Everything is controlled and operated via Crestron touchpanels which also controls a major part of the Bose sound installation.

Berne Nilsson, Arenamanager, and Carl-Fredrik Malmgren of Fremlab is both very satisfied with the solution.
"This is our first installation of DISE and there is more to come. The system is very powerful and we have only scratched a little bit on the surface." says Carl-Fredrik Malmgren.
Berne Nilsson says that "An arena of this magnitude where a lot of people needs is involved everywhere we need to have a system that gives us easy access to deliver quick and
exact messages to out guests and the audience. DISE is the right solution for us."
