The first animated digital escalator advertising
platform in Asia

The Hong Kong MTR is regarded as one of the world’s leading metro systems with an average passenger capacity of 3.4 million per weekday. MTR Digital Escalator Crown is the first digital and animated escalator advertising platform in Asia’s metro system. Passengers can enjoy a story-telling advertising experience when traveling along the escalator. The system is run using a Dise DS and a Dise Complete system featuring the new "no Border" system

Five pairs of escalator banks in 3 busiest MTR stations, with a total of more than 130 screens were in this first phase of the development plan. The project requires all screens to be managed and monitored from a couple of editor sites through the corporate media network. The screens in each escalator bank have to run in synchronized mode such that all the content in the screens are playing coherently. [read more]

DISE - now on the roster in UK

Sturminster Newton High school in Dorset is the first school to incorporate digital signage as part of the diploma course.

This trial is a start up phase to see how well received the subject will be. The students are required to work in a fully commercial way and display DS in a professional way including looking at advertising for local business’s.

The school will be used as a show case and other schools who decide to incorporate DS will be encouraged to see the DISE installation the hope is that it is taken up by Dorset

Unique movement on a path feature with sound.

We are currently improving the way people can work with different kinds of moving objects. The user can now specify a moving path for each object. If the system uses the new "no Border" feature object movement paths can span multiple screens and be played by synchronized player computers.
If sound is a part of the moving object then the volume of the sound can be adjusted to compensate for the distance to the viewer allowing for unique effects to be created.
